Best Orange County Saxophonist for Your Event

I played many shows for the Lake Forest Keys during Covid by listening from boats safely distanced all over the Lake Forest Lake. We even did a few band gigs with my 5 piece blues project Brick Alley Blues.  Saxophone Solo One Man Band seen Image Left. I ALSO PERFORM THERE WITH OTHER ARTISTS thru Covid and beyond Like Hollywood and Vinyl, Wartime Radio Review and Matt Mauser. 

Lake Forest Keys has also turned into an Annual Santa Sax Event where I play the Christmas boat parade and after party in full Santa garb. Lets not forget South Coast Plaza Santa Sax Year after Year.

An amazing venue in San Juan Capistrano, which is now gone but I am sure will come back as a cool bar again and maybe with music. In and out for years. So many clubs have come and gone over the decades I have been working right here in the OC - Can't mention them all if I tried.... I have lived in Orange County since I was 9 years old - almost 50 years.....

I have performed all over Laguna Beach from large events for the City Council to Festival of Arts Shows, opened Mozambique for Jazz, Play there again for Sunday Brunch, Skyloft Jazz Wednesdays downtown, The Drake Jazz room south Laguna Beach, the old Marine Room years past along with Ron's in Laguna for years, just to mention a few...

We started the Greg Vail Jam at Virgils place in Coto De Caza - Gentiles. I had been work a couple years with him at the RSM Lake and made the move to Coto with him and then started the JAM! We were there for a couple of years until it closed - then moved to an Italian Restaurant on El Toro near the 5 before landing at Big Shots down the road, El Toro. That went a couple years and then soured so I took it to this new room in Orange County near the John Wayne Airport called Campus JAX. It ran there until Jack started wanting me to book my band Greg Vail Jazz in the room... Jam went away after years of success.   

Many people remember the Old View Lounge because it was the premiere Night Club in Orange County for 2 Decades. I worked atop the Newport Beach Marriott for 15 years with the Tom Stein Band and my second wife Diana D'itri. At the Same Time I was involved with the Music Department at Saddleback Church - The largest Church in Southern California and a local Church to Orange County. I was actually on Staff at Saddleback Church for about 15 years as a Saxophonist. Traveled the world over with Rick Warren an his #1 best sellers books. A lot of early friends and fans form the 80's and 90's come from these 2 large meeting grounds. All this to say I was also a regular for the biggest music event in Orange County every year. It was called the KSBR Birthday Bash. My first Bash was the Second year, and I attended almost every year after that. It won Best Music Event in Orange County year after year and was huge. So sad they killed it at 30 years old. 

All this to say - 3 big reasons Orange County Claims me as their OWN....
